What to expect when you hire Datchet Village Hall, and how to get a quote for your event.
How charges work
Ask for a quote
Charges depend on the spaces you need, your times and the type of event. The hall does not publish a fixed price list, so please contact the booking secretary with your date, times and what you have in mind.
Regular bookings
Weekly and block bookings for classes, clubs and groups may have different hire charges. Say how often you would like to hire when you ask.
Deposit and payment
A deposit is requested at booking. Payment arrangements can be discussed, and bank transfer is preferred.
Deposit and damage
Hirers pay for any damage, including accidental damage, and rubbish left outside the bins is removed at the hirer's cost, taken from the deposit. See the terms of hire.
What to tell us
- The date or day of the week, with start and finish times including set-up and clear-up
- The type of event and roughly how many people
- Which spaces you need: the main hall and stage, the foyer and bar, the kitchen, the patio
- Whether you will sell alcohol or play recorded music
